That's not the same as what I have or what the book says. White will be ground.

Can you get a 12v light and 2 bits of wire? If so connect one side to ground and the other to either side of your indicator flasher. That would let you know if that is working or not.

The brown should be connected to the brown on the back of the ignition switch.

Yep that's what the diagram says. But there is two different connection points. One is direct on to the live side of fuse 1 and the other is to a splice block before fuse 1.

Try hitting starter with a mallet might just be a bit sticky. Another easy test is to put your head lights on and try starting to see if they dim or not.

Unless he is planning on lifting the series so it can drive over the gay lander?
