    VIN number question

Look at your V5 (log book). Look for VIN/Chassis/Frame No. in section 4 'Vehicle Details' approx half way down on the left. It will begin SAL... (probably) . Take the last 8 characters of the VIN - that's what they're referring to.

    HK System ISO Adapter

You shouldn't need an adaptor at all - apart from the steering wheel controls. I just plugged the harness straight into the back of my Alpine unit.

I have photos from the exact same place you stopped. Can't see much though as it was blowing a hooley at the time.

Extra connector near fuel rair sensor

It's for nothing - if I recall correctly LR made a modification but left the old wiring in place. I have that one spare too. The green plug is the one that should be plugged in.

Trouble with double din adapter (pics).

Mine was the same. I just made slots instead of holes so it fitted snugly over the pegs.

TD4 turns over but will not run after work done

I pressed the top of the box that's under the arrow and it clicked - it has some sort of button on the top that's a bit like those tamper evident seals you get on a jam jar, if you know what I mean. I'll take a photo if that helps.

TD4 turns over but will not run after work done

When I changed my thermostat a couple of weeks ago I removed all of the bits you did. Upon reassembly I noticed that there were two plugs that could connect to the cam sensor. One came from a lead attached through the main fuse box, the other was part of the loom that sits around the engine...
