& it's funny, if you were to pull an immaculate L322 apart (and have time & space) you'd easily get so much more than it's worth as a whole unit. i had considered this, but i don't really mind about the money.

look, whatever it is or isn't, so it's not a 2006 "facelift" that's not even a possible thing you can do.. the facts about the cars age / mileage are there, biddings at £1,550. whilst i'd be upset to achieve that, ebay's ebay. & when the "hammer" falls, the final bid stands.

i had no interest in keeping this car long term, the plan was to get to grips with a couple of older models & see what their faults were & go for a newer one.

& because of all this drama, i'm going to make a point of picking the most inconspicuous looking one at the dealership when i go for the 2013 model. i'm going to get the most plain & bland looking (black) one i can see.
