I've had the lid off the ecu and is completly dry and clear.Maybe as soon as i started it up again the oil pooled in the plug socket again which is causing the short.I'm hoping that when the new loom gets here it will cure it, but because i like to know as much as possible about things, just...

Can anyone tell me why oil in the injector wiring loom causes the car to missfire? Is it the oil reaching the red scart plug and causing a short in the electrics,or does the oil actually get inside the wiring in the head and disrupt the injectors? I've ordered a new loom cause i've got seepage...

could also be a relay in the fuse board.Drop the knee board and follow the sound,the relays look like little boxs, you can sometimes feel them buzzing if theres a problem.
