I have found the flange but not sure on the prop under discovery 2 no rear prop option with rear uj listed . I'm expecting it's going to be one off a defender but it's just finding out correct length etc

Only thing this is my daily driver so cant afford to be disabled too long

I seen someone drilled the drilling down to the bolt head for the flange and tap to m10 and use bolt to jack off and vokt screwing in pushes against the flange bolt to jack the pin out

Done that if you read further up in original post and with heat too

Oh so need to buy special tools .. seems alot of special tools are needed to maintain a LR !

My diff pinion seal leak is getting worse , I ordered a seal and attempted to tackle it but I'm stuck trying to get the pin that is in the flange before the bolt . Come across 2 problems 1 , whist in air the whole diff turns when trying to remove the pin with socket and bolt technique and 2 ...

Yes I have . That guide make it sounds easy though ! It's not at all . A good trick is put all bolts and gasket on and behind gasket put a rubber band to hold all together. Start each bolt off and snip the band off . Tighten up and replace pipes . Well that's the theory !

I have got it off yes . Putting back on tomorrow . The lower bolt you wont get through wheel arch . My main issue bolts so tight and only being able to get a 1/4" ratchet on with a uj and 4 extensions! Starter may be a idea though

Sounds much easier taking the engine out to change il see what pipe I got and zip tie it out of the way . I'm tempted to remove the inlet manifold to put back on tomorrow. My arm is looking a cat had a fight with me and very red where was wedged under the manifold!

Right I ordered the bosch regulator and seal kit . What a **** of a job arms cut blood over the inlet manifold , what a nightmare! But noticed the bosch fpr has a nipple on end and a swadge like should be a vac hose of something. Have I got wrong part of just had a extra tube / nipple instead...

It's a con I see it as , you think your getting something half decent and then find out it's made by lovley britpart ! Unfortunately there not many alternatives that I found either bearmach or genuine

Started to tint my rear windows today in 5% limo black . It's not perfect but it's the effect I want and may at a later date get done professionally but for now it will do . All to do is rear and the alpine windows
