I bought from Gwyn Lewis a kit to change breathers as my front one is leaking badly around the pipe, the plastic insert must be worn . Apparently pull out insert and tap out the hole ... one issue the tap will not even start in the bushing in the axle case and can not drill out in place etc as...

Don't want that happening as I put lof SMF clutch in last autumn . I think il try another kit and if only last month's again it then be a complete housing .

Funny I fitted that kit a few months ago, if nicked a seal or o ring I thought would leak before now .

still missing slightly on idle, but when you rev the engine the fuel pressure goes down , at idle sitting around 0.5 bar. I'm thinking may be time to try a complete fpr and housing .

still a bit lumpy and slight vibration on idle but is a bit smoother , its sorned so can not drive it on the road but I can try around the yard in low box . So the Mv reading is fine ? I may order a fuel pressure test kit or see if anyone i know has one .

yes I did , used multimeters for donkeys years so not clueless with them . got another meter but needs a new battery but will check tomorrow . YouTube link and as can see the pressure isn't great .

Right I have checked the fuse voltage , 12v to the fuse and when it's running and meter on Mv no reading on the meter at all . Tried 2 meters too . Even with ignition on and on purge cycle the pasture is not registering on the guage . Il upload a YouTube video

it's strange as the pump was new in November and a VDO pump . il check the voltage across the fuse

Other than the pump itself what else could it be ? fuel pressure regulator or the valve in filter head ? Thing is it stars easy , runs lumpy and drives but sluggish

6mm internal diameter that is , I will check that tomorrow across the fuse when go down where it's being stored . Oh when I took the guage off on idle with engine running there is fuel flow but can stop it buy pinching the pipe

How do I check the fuel pressure on my 15p td5 ? I took the temperature sensor out and fitted adapters to 6mm tube and to a guage , starts and runs but no reading on the guage . Tried another guage and the same, when blow air with an airline it moves up past 4 bar no issues . what am I doing...

so what reading across the fuse would indicate the pump is at fault ?

il have a read , the original fuel pump is back in the tank but I have a 3 month old vdo I swapped , could put that back in for a try ..

Well I have replaced all seals and washers with genuine ,a new loom a MAF and 1 injector as showing MAF and miss fire on number 3 . since doing its almost missing on idle and feels low on power over 2500 or slow to get there and once around 70mph really struggling to get any more . Any ideas...

oh dear ! thing is mine doesn't hardly drive get to 30 to 35 if your lucky . no diesel in sump either
