performance straight through watever i was told i cant do away with centre box as this is needed for back pressure on engine any info much appreciated

only if its diesel i was going to do the same myself but was told the v8 has to have back pressure and that comes from the centre box going to enquire at local performance centre tommorrow i want to get rid of my centre box but cant find much info about it unless spending loads a money on new...
