thought so , and it´s not anymore , it was the one closest to the bulkhead that was plugged ,and the one closest to the front runs to the radiator , is that as it should be ?

There are two thin hoses going from the top of the header tank , one is connected to the radiator , but the other one has been plugged at the end , is it supposed to be connected somewhere , or is it a overpressure hose that is to evacuate water out in nowhere???

on my p38 -98 diesel , water is pushed out of the header tank cap . the cylinder head is according to the seller (a used car dealer , have no reason to doupt) renovated , no signs in the engine oil , and no particular smoke frome the exhaust. could it be thet simple that either the thermostat...

a leatherman tool and some (which I don´t really have) patiance , I managed to switch the back ends of my two compressors , looks as if the thermal resistor in the original one was shot :) and suddenly the p38 is up on it´s "feet" again, finally I can carry on with changing bits and parts, to...

feels as if I´m getting closer :) and if I can manage to get the compressor running , I will check and change every "old" and aged part in the eas, airbags, give the valve block new o-rings and so on :p

was thiking about the thermal switch ,if it´s shot" , will the effect be that the compressor won´t ru at all when using the car normally , without having it conected to the laptop diagnostics?

Update , of Course the "new" compressor ,is a non working unit (lesson learned:-[) Put the old unit in Place , and via my lap top I managed to get air into the system , BUT ! The comoressor is not running unless i run it from my computer , will be no change in heights when I try to get into...
