Hi all, I am coming to the end of a lengthy engine transplant journey and have got to the dreaded electrics. I took out a 200tdi so I know they will be some differences. Also the existing wiring is a state with so many cut end and wires to nowhere I'm convinced it would be easier to start...

Attacked the first outrigger today, not an easy job. Ran out of grinder disks and will power by lunch time. as suggested there was some corrosion in the chassis rail. not sure what to do about this??? Also I need a new bolt that fixes the body to the outrigger. Can't find a part number, any ideas?

I've been meaning to repair my outriggers and now the engine is out it's time to get stuck in. I already have a replacement left hand one that I figured needed a complete swop and planned to plate over the top of the rhs. but last night I found the rhs is just as bad. Left hand side Right...

OK so perhaps I'm rembering the 200tdi one. Does it want some sealant round it or just metal to metal?

Does anyone know where I can find a part number for the gasket that goes between the block and the flywheel housing? I'm struggling. Ta

I think I've got all the mechanical stuff sorted, in my head Atleast. Just need to get the parts in. It's the electrics that I'm worried about, looks like someone has tipped a bowl of spaghetti in my engine bay.
