Wot exactley is the problem. I have a webber on my s2 and all works pritty well. I admit the linkage only opens the buterfle to 80 85% of wot it shuld but that justs helps me save fule. Had to fiddle quite a bit with the linkage To get thatmutch pull but no I'll efects yet. Done about 1000 miles...

i get about 15-18 out of my petrol. diesel is very slow but wade better .

it is like a westfield or catrham but built from scratch using the running gear from an E30 BMW and the same basic schassis as a locost but with IRS like the Haynes roadster. Currently moving the engine a few mm one way or another and sitting pondering wot the problem is with it being there...

check the hinges. :p 1961 s2 petrol (so yer still 2.25) bulkhead is riddled with tin worm and the schassis is covered in bobbley welds but i think its solid enough. love it. have a 200tdi engine sitting around but i am also building a car from scratch. think westfield / catraham but...

are no i see your confusion. Bolkhead 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1 the valves are in one line (two per silinder) read my list as when valve number 8 is fully open adgust valve number 1 when valve number 6 is fully open adgust valve number 3 when " " 4 " '' '' '' ''...

uur. the engine is horizontally apposed so the valve numbers run simply 1-8. 1 being next to the rad and 8 is next to the bulkhead. hope that helps? ow and sounds like you need a workshop manual. you can find them to download online.

frount to back of block when _ is open adjust _ 8 1 6 3 4 5 7 2 1 8 3 6 5 4 2 7 think it is a rule of 9. ie. take the valve number that is open away from 9 and adjust that tappet
