Spotted on ebay - 0.99p start

Looks as though the seller has withdrawn this one from sale. I think it had been bid up to about £480 but maybe he found out the problem was not so bad after all and thought better of "giving" it away:(

    BMW 1 series

Not sure if the BMW 1 Series has the same engine as the Mini, but my sons Cooper is always very metallic after starting. The timing chains are at the front of the Cooper engine and are prone to chain tensioner or guide failings. I would look at a couple of others to see if they have the same...

    Bulb for Freelander 1 clock

Sorry to hijack this thread but I have a question for Kizzeh - Is yours a facelift FL1? If yes, when you replaced your hazard light switch bulb, how did you get to the bulb? I have had the switch out and it seems to be a sealed unit. There is a complete new switch on ebay but it is £23 and...

Spotted on ebay - 0.99p start

Spotted this on ebay today -This is local to me, but I do not know the owner or have anything to do with the sale. Obviously not going to sell for 0.99p but someone on here handy with the spanners might want a punt? Landrover Freelander XEI - 1800cc - FAULTY ENGINE | eBay

    Wipers!!

What Nodge says above. I have just replaced my wiper motor because of exactly the same problem as you have. Even with a tea break it took me less than an hour.

North Cornwall to Stourbridge (needed 1 way)

I am hoping to find somebody to pick-up about 8-10 boxes (Approx 120Kilos) of water based paint from Bude in Cornwall and carefully deliver to Stourbridge (Midlands) This paint is not flammable in any way. Will be ready to ship after 3rd March and will obviously I would expect to pay for the...

    Wiper Motor (Just in time)

Lifted from Chromiumuk's post back in March 2011........As he says, about an hour. First remove the wiper arms, think it's a 13mm nut that holds them on - you'll need to wiggle them a little once you've loosened off the nuts to "break" the taper lock. Next, open the bonnet & pull off the rubber...

    Wiper Motor (Just in time)

Today I decided that I had put up with the "wipers not parking properly" problem for long enough and changed the wiper motor. Was a lot easier than I thought and regret not doing it sooner, as it looks as though not only were the electrics tired but also the wiper arm fitting, which fell apart...

    Upper B pillar Wear

I had a 2008 GS from new with exactly the same problem on the seat belt pillars (Drivers side was the worst obviously) When I requested replacements, I was fobbed off by Guy Salmon in Maidstone who claimed the marking was insignificant and not worthy of change as yet! Not sure about bulletin...

    Battery @ 12.7v - fully charged?

Mine read 11.7v when it was knackered and it had to be replaced. Green Flag call out man reckoned 12.66v was fully charged, so I would say at 12.7v its fully charged.

freelander 2 key fob re proramming

I think you will find that Lookers are correct in saying that a second hand key on the FL2 is useless. I am sure that I read somewhere that they are a 'one shot' fob and paired to a car during the initial programming and cannot be recoded to match another car. So basically only a brand new...
