Unfortunately, you are a bit too far from me otherwise I would gladly have exchanged some five pound notes for it. I would bang it on ebay rather than it sitting in your garage gathering dust. Some on there for £20-£30+

Ahh I think we are talking Facelift v Non Facelift again. Your avatar shows pre-facelift and I have the facelift model.

Still have the same problem but I am sure they should illuminate. I remember you posted a link to the bulb a while ago... R509TJBR 60MA T3 Panel Bulb 14V 1.2W Brown Base Not trying to waste more of your hard earned, but perhaps seeing as you now have two switches, you could try to prise the...

Sorry cannot help on this one - Anyone on here know about Freelancers?

    back on line

BT are clueless. They have just charged me £44 for ending a contract early as I moved house, then sent me a cheque for £29 as they felt I was in credit. I have now received another invoice which states I am in credit for £172.04 I have asked them to repay me but I bet they never send that...

Replaced both front windows on my 3 door this morning as they had been scratched to bu**ery by the dog.........Looks as though the back quarters are gonna need doing as well. Ah well, off to the breakers again. Just hope they have some that are a dark tint. Anyone got a dog guard they don't...

    couple of questions

No problem with helping, but what established members get ****ed off about is newbies coming on asking for help and then never posting again. If you join a forum it's only polite to introduce yourself, get involved and give something back.

    Drivers window replacement

Mrs DD's dog has managed to scratch my drivers window so badly I am having trouble seeing out of it! There seems to be a coating on the inside which is now flaking. I have managed to get a new green tinted window from ebay and plan to replace the old one on Sunday. From what I can see it would...

    couple of questions

Seem to be a lot more newbies doing this lately...Get the answer they want and then never heard from again until another problem arises. Englishbull is usually on the ball with an "intro first before answers" comment but he has probably got fed up with leading the cause!

    Smoking Td4 on Start Up

As Brack says....Use the search facility and also get over to the "Introduce Yourself" section. You will find you will get a lot more replies if you follow the correct etiquette on here. :welcome2:

    Cup holder useful at last

I'll have you know that the compass is very useful........It covers up a white blemish on the dash;) The round mounting block is from a lump of wood that I bored out with a hole cutter and then used spray adhesive to stick the fake leather to. Drilled and tapped the top and barstadised the...

    Cup holder useful at last

Never really seen the point of the facelift cup holders, as anything you put in there either blocks the clock or is just too far for me to safely reach. So I have installed the Tom Tom in the passenger side. The round block I have used is a nice snug fit and sits up just high enough to get...

    Service & MOT

I for one am sorry if you were made to feel unwelcome, but you did put yourself up there to be shot at. Especially the £50 tip comment:eek: And loading up that invoice, when we all have experience of what we are prepared to pay for spares, did you not think we would have an opinion? You really...

I think you will find the VAT has been added to every item. Certainly adds up that way.

    Engine heat up time?

My TD4 takes at least 4-5 miles to reach the centre of the gauge, but I guess it depends on how fast you travel and the type of roads you use.

    Service & MOT

MOT's are not vatable and £54.85 is the maximum garages are allowed to charge for the test on vehicles like ours. Think I would be checking that invoice again............ https://www.gov.uk/getting-an-mot/mot-test-fees
