    Locking wheel nut help

As Bushy says - Gently wack on an oversized socket. Lost my locking key socket last week and MacGard wanted £25 to get one in from Germany. 7/16" BSW is a good fit.

New to landrovers, have a couple of questions

The wipers stopping halfway through the cycle is a common fault - Do a search and all will be revealed. 36,000 miles eh? What a find. Mine is the 2004 base model and now has 142k on it. It keeps going because I keep it regularly serviced....Don't worry about the missing heated seats, spend...

    Facelift radio code

I am looking for confirmation on the radio code on a standard facelift radio/cd. I have never been asked to enter a code after disconnection of the power. Should there be one? Does it depend on how long it has been disconnected?

Fit cheap Ebay rear parking sensors, advice to location of sensors

I miss parking sensors having had them on previous cars and I thought about fitting a set of these myself, as I am always worrying about hitting something behind with the spare wheel. I presume the wiring is fairly straightforward?

    Thinking of Buying One

Couple of really little but annoying when they go wrong, things to check.... Make sure the windscreen wipers work on all settings. The delayed wipe often fails and the wipers park where they like! Not expensive to fix but maybe a good bargaining tool. Check the lights behind the heater...

My TD4 seems to have developed the same problem, with the temp gauge sitting just below the middle. Weird though as it will move to normal on a good run, but during the 10 mile drive to work it doesn't quite get there. Had a quote to replace the thermo from a local indy today......£475 incl...

I purchased one from these guys on ebay last month. Ended up at £9.99 with free next day delivery. - Fits perfectly and was a new genuine LR part. However, I have to admit the blinds are not really doing much as the glass has such a dark tint there isn't a lot of glare anyway. But I like the...

Problems or faults to be looking for on freelander

Looks nice. Do a search on what to look for when buying Freelander, there's plenty of info on here. Also it's better to post in the dedicated Freelander section as it saves the big boys having their little bit of fun at our expense. :)
