    I use my 1/2 tonner every day. Got fed up waiting for summer so took off the hardtop..dropped the screen...bought some waterproofs and now start every day with a smile and teeth full of bugs. Had to change diffs though as tractors were overtaking me !

    Volvo-Penta used to use the prima and called it TAMD22. 105hp very reliable and would run allday flat out.

    Just removed hubs and oil fell out. There does not appear to be a seal between the halfshaft and the outerrace.? That lifium jollop is well juicey. How much ""wobble" should I give the hub b4 I does up the locking nut.

    If you have a ford V6 it would follow that you have a negitive earth system. No standard ford v6's had posy earth. Do you have an alternator or a dynamo charging system.??

    When the drive flange was off I could see the outer race and rollers. No sign of grease or seal, just a pair of taper roller bearings which appear to be splash lubed.The only O ring I found stops oil from leaking up the splines and out the flange. ""mr Haynes"" tells me there is a filling plug...

    Just put a 3.5 diff in the rear of me Lightweight, taken it round the block and now the rear hubs are warm. To fill the axle I jacked it up on 1 side and poured in 3lts of oil. How does the oil get into the wheelbearings??? Don't think its the brakes as I can push it ok..

    Just collected a S3 petrol 2.25 which cranks but only fires when the key is released. er.. any idea's. Not had a petrol engine for years but remember the wirey things spark and bite..

    (almost) on the road

    If you still got the butterfly brake vacume thingy, make sure it's adjusted correctly. Mine smoked bad till I drained all the oil from the air filter,routed the engine breather to "the road" and got rid of the brake thingy. Now it only smokes on start-up.

    just got rid of the butterfly thing and fitted a pug 205 vac pump. Brakes now good for a lightweight. If your near Chichester you can collect and have the butterfly thingy for free...

    seen S3 88's with single line brakes and no servo. Didn't have a servo on my last 11A and that had a perkie up front.
