It's got the metal point that comes out the sensor, really thin about half inch long, looks a bit like a needle. This goes into the round plastic sensor, like the cover for the metal piece of the sensor. It's the plastic piece that has the slight groove in it.

Hi guys, managed to find it thanks to you lot. Took it out, looks like its already been replaced with an after market one, have noticed the plastic has got a groove in it just off the target? Is it supposed to have one, or is this whats causing my running problem?
