what are the most common problems with the 200 tdi??????? and also landrover defenders in general?????? apart from rust lol :)

hello would it do any harm to put greeze on the hardy spicer or wd40? and also the ball joints around the front wheels, were does the oil come from to get on the boils and how do you top it it up ?? cheers ohh and its a 1989 defender 90

alryt yea cheers lads, what about all the hole and stuff there is in the chassie like intended holes lol not rusted in ones ?? how do u cleen that out of the inside of the chassie in order to get all the dirt or trapped water out, becuase i have read that if you waxoil and trap dirt and water...

lryt i have just bought a defender 90 from 1989, it has not had to much welding done to it so far, just the foot welds and under the passanger seat as far as i can see i was just wondering if it is expensive and possible just to keep getting it welded each year for the next 5 years while i save...
