    V8 or TDi (Off Road)

I would go for a V8i auto, may be that is because i have one. petrol comsumption is not as good as a diesel, for off roading the auto box means both hands on the wheel and not having to worry about changing gear.

    Little progress update

I'm impressed, do you work in the motor trade that you are such a dab hand at welding, grinding spray painting, maintenance etc. I wish i could do the same to mine, unfortunately dont have the kit or the room and the spare car to do it. great picture set of the progress.

Step by step guide to doing the boot pan???

Hi Guys, looking at thos pics, my pan does not seem so bad, on the pic with the red circle, my rust crack goes accross the car instead of along the car side. I took it to a Landy garage near me that does all the farmers landie's, he reckons the cross members are ok, just the floor pan. Has...

Not perfect but love it anyway!

Tis very true, they give you a great smile every time you start the big engine up and the car rocks under the torque of it. thinking of passing mine on as it is now a welders paradise, boot pan on the way out and front wheel arches are pock marked with rust holes and crunches when you push on...

    Misfires to nearly stalling?

Sounds like you have a fuel mixture problem, are you running with carbs or injectors? if carbs, check the fuel air mixture and jets for clogging. Plugs should be a nice biscuit colour if all is ok.
