I had a similar issue, comedy death wobble, I checked allsorts with mine and finally put it down to the panhard rod, bolts weren't tight enough........seemed to solve my problem. it looked as though the previous owner had fitted guards and they'd not tightened to bolts enough or they had worked...

Replaced the swivel grease, had a check over the underside, checked fluids and topped them up etc, swapped the sidelights for brighter LED jobbies and replaced a defunct rear fog light with a shiny new one that now works :) Once I'd finished that I reversed over my tool box with the landy and...

I'd be interested to see the roofs finished with the felt if you guys have any pics?

I was referring to the different type of fittings on their auction photograph, not in reference to the type of bulb being filament or led ;) other posts seem to say the bulbs are standard 501's but their pic shows 501's and other fitting by the looks of it? I presume it must be a generic...

there's a kit on fleebay........seem to be different types of bulbs? BLUE LED DASH/SPEEDO LANDROVER DEFENDER 83-90 90/110 | eBay

so overall does replacing the standard 501's with LED's make the dash any brighter then if the green binnacle is still there? I dont care if its green that's fine by me :) How many bulbs are there, one for each dial?

do they all require modified bases to the seats or are they a slot straight on job? and can the heated versions be connected somehow as im envisaging a cold ass this winter lol (first winter in a defender)
