    Another Classic being brought back

Pah! I was outside flaring brake pipes and bolting brackets down when a layer of frost was developing on the bodywork. Man up cupcake! :D :p Quick, cover it in mud, no one will ever know. ;)

I have an assistant to do that for me! :D But quicker and easier you say... Not that I'm lazy, but if there's an easier option I might have to take it. Always managed without a bleeder before but it certainly does take a while. Any idea how much fluid I'll need considering all the pipes are...

:o :o :o Thanks Stiginthemud! :) Correct! All outside, slave to the elements. :( Todays progress went well but didn't manage to get to bleeding the brakes stage today. However I have got all the brake lines plumbed in and mounted just so. Just as I was finishing up a layer of frost was...

    Hibrid

I'm guessing the reference to built before 1997 means the chassis has been shortened? Using a pre 1973 RRC as a donor for the chassis/engine/gearbox/axles and then putting whatever body you want on it.

What have you done to your Landie today.

Got the front brake lines in and mounted. Ony the rear brake line to go! Might meet my target of bleeding the brakes on the weekend! Once brakes are done back to engine tinkering. Then once the boot floor supports are in then just need to fit the rubber mounts on the fuel tank, rejig the fuel...

    3.5L Top End Rebuild

Thanks for the reply! Will give that a go. :) Hopefully more progress tomorrow depending on the weather. Everything is coated in oil at the moment and can't do anything in the rain as water and fresh metal don't go at all.

    The project has landed!

With regards to the tax man and NOVA number... I had no end of fun with that. Had to fill in a C&E109, provide a covering letter, etc and send it to the National Clearance Hub. Who ended up screwing up and sending it to the Personal Transport Unit in Dover. After much faffing turns out the...

Flapper EFI is ridiculously simple, just looking at the circuit diagram for the wiring loom I get a fuzzy feeling and appreciate how simple it is. I would like to get hold of a circuit diagram and pin outs for the ICs that are on the PCBs in the ECU casing to understand it more. The 9th...

I've heard of the 'adjustable fueling' flapper ECUs but not a remapped one... interesting! You'll have to put it on a dyno and get it measured. ;)
