Sorry thought you said it wouldn't start and just turned over after new harness and a clean . Could try next cold start if if don't start 1st time is to then do a purge start up routine from the hand book .

Wouldn't hurt to have a quick check on the old fuel pump is running as it should and also maybe put a new fuel filter on just to rule them out

Did you open up and clean the ecu out with electric contact cleaner . Or did you just clean out the plug socket on it

Yeh 1st place to look is the front camshaft seal . It's a round disc with a o ring that just pushes in place . Cheap and easy to do for anyone . That's what I would check 1st . As when the oil comes out the fan blows it all over alternator and then works back covering everything

So if there's to be no more poking fun at noobs/people . I can finally come out the closet stand up and say. I RUN 20Inch RR SPORT WHEELS ON MY DISCO 2 . There I said it and I'm proud of it !!!! So is this where we all hug now and say how great we think each other is :D

I agree with above have you checked you oil in box . And if your not happy doing a oil check you Could also do a quick test does the car try to creep when put in D on tick over and or can it hold itself on a small incline in D . If no then get the oil in box changed before you try anything else .

I'm thinking there is a good chance the key will be where it was lost . So would look there 1st to save time looking else where :D
