Yes as others have said movement up and down a bit is normal. If its a twin axle caranvan just take the time on some level ground to get the hight right as your on springs . And dont be alarmed if it sounds a bit clunky when towing . That's normal for that type of adjustable hitch
I tow my 26ft caravan and tow my tractor on a trailer with one of them tow bars and yes theirs some play in it , but they are great for setting up a twin axle trailer for towing
Could you not just use the tow ring cover from the old bumper and use it to cover the hole cut it into that one to make a matching pear on the front bumper ,
If its the m&s lights flashing . This can offen be triggered by a low battery , as the auto boxes brain is very fussy about vottage , check your battery put it on charge over night or start it up and leave in park and hold it at higher revs for a while then turn off and restart . If light dont...
That is a piain , did you get the blade out ?
I had the opposite problem with mine years ago . Went to put the key in and the barrel had all gone tits up inside , had to take the barrel off take apart and rebuild it , less 1 or 2 bits
have you tried repeatedly pressing your fob button , while pulling up on the door lock button , as i have had the same prob every now and then on my nearside rear door , and have found this to work for me ,
Just a thanks at the end of the thread . And maybe a little note on if or how you solved your problem , so others could use the tips that worked for you
Might be wrong but dont think you should recheck oil level when the car/bix is hot . Think level should only be checked when you 1st start it up . I think ?
Ps ive had these pipes pop off too
Rather than put a cigar 12v socket. Up their , a usb 12v socket is looks much smarter mounted up there , but it dose depend on what plug you have on the end of your dash cam plus they can be smaller on the back when fitting in a tighter space
You should be ok . I tow a caravan a lot and i also drive a lorry , and the only thing you will have to watch out for with the wider caravan is roads with weight limits on them ie 7.5 ton limits and up , cuz often its not about weight, but width and length on them making them unsuitable for...
I know you had it faults read but .How old is its battery , as the brain for the auto box is very fussy about getting the right voltage and can start to trigger s&m light , if the battery is getting old cuz thats what happened to mine , just something else to check
