Hi, was hoping someone could help. My td5 disco seems to have not a lot of power when it is under 2500rpm. It seems worse when it is cold/first 30 mins or so. Feels as though the turbo is not kicking in. Does anyone have any ideas?

i have been on a guided tour £150. they are good so far as they show you which lanes you can legally drive and there is a bit of support if it goes wrong with your vechile 10 miles from anywhere. They do use normal green lanes that anyone can access however they give you some advice on...

ive just put a new engine in my TD5 disco after seizing the bottom end, just had the head reconditioned so have that for sale at a good price. that should solve it! and wont be anywhere near the prices you have been paying or quoted.

ended up doing wales. was good, one hairy part near/in happy vally where the lane had washed out. we needed to rebuild it- took 50 min. luckily it held as it was a long roll if it did not!!!

Any TD5 owners with no cruise control, i have just found out that you can just buy the switch and steering control and all the rest of it is already in place!! Easy install, even i have just done it. Took 30 min.

where abouts are you going to be, we looking at setting off from blackpool tomorrow, sat am. Prob heading wales, was going to go happy valley at some point over the 2 days.

I have been a few times, its good. There are several differant areas for your ability. I took my last 110 crew cab witha 2inch lift and got grounded in the forest! DOH!! In my un modded disco, not stuck once, just pay attention to where you are driving, always someone around to help you out...
