This isn't a for sale thread either just a question. I need both sills doing on my discovery 300 tdi so my question is, is it actually worth doing I ask as I'm looking to upgrade in the next year or so. I would like people's opinions on if it would be a better selling point that all the sills...

i have changed my front shock absorber mounts they were shocking (no pun intended). I was going over bumps and it was clunking so had a look today and they was worse than flat. I forgot to get a picture of them to show how bad they was. All changed now the shock doesnt move in its mount so its...

Afternoon all a quick question for you. My disco had a advisory for corroded centre body mounts. im just wondering can these be repaired and how easy is it to do, or is it easier to just get new mounts stuck on. Im not fussed on how long it takes but which one will be better in the long run...

Is this a part that is prone to wear as I have a slight seapage on my Landy which is the same year as yours. Can't really see where it's coming from on mine as its all the way down the side.

That's the one indeed central locking actuator wells done that man. I just need to find one at a cheap price now thanks for telling me what it is.

Sorry it's a disco 300tdi in the rear door it's attached to the door lock mechanism I think it is a electrical spring switch for the central locking. I'll try and get a picture up at some point.

I'm trying to find out what a part is called I just don't know the proper name. It is the electric spring thing at the bottom rhs of the rear door. Any help greatly appreciated. It's black about 3 inches big and has a electrical connection at the bottom I hope you will know what it is thanks.

Where do you lot get all your spares from I am looking for a few bits and I'd like to know where you lot got them from. I'm after a rear wiper motor and rear door lock servo unit( I think that's what it is). Any help greatly appreciated I'm also hoping for them to be cheap. Thanks Danny

Well I would say its in good condition unlike some that need the boots and sills doing all these have been done and the other things are just a few fuses or switches so relatively easy to fix. I have all the welding equipment at work so no need to buy it and professionals to do it when I fudge...

I have just bought a 300tdi and want to get a decat pipe and egr blanking plug. My question is does it get tested on emissions on the MOT and does it still pass with a decat pipe on. How much difference does a blanking plate make. Thanks Danny
