hi all got the chance of a defender its on a p plate been used by the horsey type full history from lr its starting to rot on door botems etc but it runs nice and drives well , how mutch would it be worth ?????? ps sorry about the spelling

mine blew both its low beam lights last week to its not the first time this has happened to my car i think that one may go and the otherone gets overloaded or something, anyway its happened to me 3 times now in 2 years

just a quick thought that i have had if there is no bleed nipple on the system can you still bleed it with the preshure bleeding gadget ???????

did the hole job in a weekend in a mate of a mates garage with a lift and some really nice tools i dont think you could do this job lying on your back,i did not rush with lots of tea and fag stops and a lot of time looking at the book. the parts came in at clutch kit £127 flywheel £300...

i recently fixed the power loss prob on my freelander td 4 by replaceing the vac hose to the turbo it had no holes in it ,it was so worn it was kinking or sucking flat only takes 10 mins to fit and a cheep place to start

pull the ashtray out of the center concel and put the hand break on and of check you have even ish travel and the linkedge is resonably straight on the two cables you can see if not totaly strip the brake on that side shoes out etc you will probably find the cable linkedge to the shoe is sized...

sounds like the old rear diff bush fingy . verry easy and chep to fix

finished sorry no pics i managed to get it on a lift in the end saved a lot of hard work and i got to use some nice tools
