worst place they rot is underside due to the poorly designed cradle that sits in contact with the tank and wicks moisture n dirt between the two rotting em out quickly, in your case though it sounds more like the filler pipe has a leak if damp or it could be the breather pipe, id give em a good...

its on 37 x 12.50's on -32 17" rims but still needs 60mm spacers to bring the wheels out enough .... oops eventually want to go for 42 / 44 ish but having trouble finding anyone who can supply a tyre that is happy on road :( 37's look tiny lol cheers steve

the rear axle is dead centre on the spring seat, its an optical illusion because the rear of the rear arch extends straight back, the lift is 3" billet alloy blocks topped with 3" springs and a 3" body / chassis lift..... pythagorus employed the rear axle has moved 4mm forward with the 6" lift...
