    Landy a little wonky!

I hope you are not implying he is overweight!!!

    Landy a little wonky!

You have to be pretty heavy to make it lean an inch! Also, doesn't the torque make it correct itself, when I rev mine it corrects itself slightly. But I still maintain it's wonky!!! As it's done a bit of towing, springs are a bit more knackered than usual, so I might replace the back...

    Landy a little wonky!

One reason is apparently to counteract the weight of the driver!

    Landy a little wonky!

yes. I hear they're meant too, but why do so many I look at, not lean.

    Landy a little wonky!

Let us know how you get on, cause mine does it too. Have a look at my thread http://www.landyzone.co.uk/lz/f7/my-90s-leaning-40234.html?[/

'CLUNK' on taking up the drive

My 90 td5 does that too. I've checked everything over, just play in diffs, transmission etc. being taken up as you move off. Happens to me too at only low speeds and starting off. I've learnt to live with it, not got any worse. Adsey

    My 90's leaning

Might just live with it, but you look at it and wonder why Landy would make it lean? Gotta just be worn springs!

    My 90's leaning

It certanly aint from WALES. Nice and english, right hander.

    My 90's leaning

Hmmm. Left hand spring shorter than right hand one!!! Just to say, I don't like the stupid light on the bck, but I'll be left with two oles if I take it off. Also isn't the Td5 fuel tank in the middle, so what ever stuff I put in it, it isn't going to make the 90 lean. And if springs...

    My 90's leaning

Here's a pic Hint: Look at the level of the rear cmember.

    My 90's leaning

I can understand the rear to be higher because of fuel and towing, but why would one side be lower than the other. Other Defenders I see don't seem to be as bad. If you look from the rear, the body looks quite wrongish on the axle. Doesn't look major, but just looks wrong.

    2007 Land Rover Defender review

Landy say the limiters to do with something about the tyres! dunno what!

    My 90's leaning

Nah, not fat enough to make it level out! It's a good inch lower, I think the springs are just a bit tired, but nothing serious, doesn't affect handling or anything. The previous owner used it for towing, so I might change them soon.

    My 90's leaning

Thanks guy's. Not going to worry anymore, it just looks a bit odd from certain angles. Adam

    My 90's leaning

Out of interest, roughly how much is a new set of springs, it was previously used for towing so they're a bit tired.

    My 90's leaning

He may eat too much, but I don't think enough to cause this. He'd be very very very very upset if he was banned from the Landy, he loves it more than me!!!!!

    My 90's leaning

Hey all, When I look at my 90 Td5 parked on a flat surface, it is leaning to the left. It's a good inch lower on the left than the right. Can anyone explain what might be causing this????? Is it simply tired springs? Thanks Adsey
