looking zt gearbox shape I really think it would just end up in the bottom out the way, I feel sure it must be common anjd there are many in the bottom of gearboxes...the clip can only drop in if that plastic bushing fails!

I have answered my own question, found the part and also that it should have a circlip which has evidently dropped into the gearbox......hopefully laying in the bottom causing no issue! New bush and clip ordered.

Having done air bags on the Truck it has issues with the ride height, its high one side, low the other after every drive and also the lift button is not working in the car. I think I have secured a yolk...........thought outside the box and called a specialist who convert defenders to the R380 gearbox, they take off the yolk and replace with a modified one. I will still be interested to hear of anybody who has encountered a stubborn yolk/grub screw like me.
