I've never tried to get my 110 in a multi storey, it would only end in disaster if I did due to the roof rack. I wouldn't let that put you off though, it's a Defender and as such new spaces to park will be available that most other cars wouldn't even consider. High curbs can be mounted...

Right I've just bought a shiney new iPad 3 and want to start using memory maps on it. I understand that OS Explorer maps are more detailed than the OS Landranger maps but are the Landranger maps sufficient for greenlaning? The reason I ask is that I can buy the OS LR maps covering the whole...

I'm running with Cooper ST Maxx and am very happy with them. They have a fairly aggressive tread pattern and dig in well when they need to yet are nice and quiet when on the road.

Trying to get shoes on afterwards may prove difficult, you know how tricky those laces can be for the fickos.:D

I've not used them in a car but we use the same mechanism to fasten cargo nets to aircraft pallets, they are very strong and very reliable.

I have used the 1.5m springer and have lost/broken two in as many weeks laning down at Salisbury. I had mine mounted to my roof rack, this gave great reception but unfortunately meant it took a fair beating from overhead branches. In future I will be going for a shorter springer and fixing it...
