Nanocom Evo is a great piece of kit for diagnostics. Have you tried re seating the relays in the under bonnet fuse box?

    Squeking Noise In the Cabin

Turn the blowers down to zero and see what happens when you fire it up. Or, pull the relays.

Still having major issues with nearside bank

Have you checked the MAF readings yet ? My 4.6 was getting reluctant to rev over 3000 rpm before it was laid up last April and decided to sort it out when it gets back on the road, which was this week. When I started it, it ran like a bag of ****e, all over the place, so connected Nanocom and...

    Holiday preperations :)

Nick.....It's all part of the holiday experience. Landrovers are a lot like Thunderbirds, "Anything can happen in the next half hour". so breakdown cover is a must. Have a good time. :)

    Fire !!!!

Too right Wammers. A friend of mine parked his car in long grass and set it on fire, fortunately he spotted it and moved the car, then started doing a strange ritual dance on the fire.

Anyone recommend a 'maintenance' battery charger?

I use an Optimate on my P38 when it's laid up, and also on the Motorbike over the winter. Never had any problems or issue's.

    Working on SRS.

Perhaps being a 1999 model it didn't get the sync update although it is a Motronic engine, or it has been messed with at some time in it's past. Anyhow, problem with SRS now sorted. I remembered that 12 months ago I had the same problem after changing the Heater Core O rings and I had disturbed...

    Working on SRS.

Thanks for the replies. Datatek.....It's a strange one but disconnecting the battery always gives me problems. Just putting the keys in the ignition fails to re-sync them, never works, I guess the pick up coil around the ignition barrel isn't woking. I have to put the keys in the door lock, hold...

    Working on SRS.

Hi all, Not posted for a while as the P38 has been in mothballs over the spring/summer period but, now autumn is with us it's being put back on the road, and it's the turn of the MG to be laid up until next spring. To the question as in the title. I have the SRS warning light on and the...

    Rear tailgate not opening

Thanks for the replies and advise. I seem to have sorted it but not sure why!! I lowered the rear window via the dash switch, then tried the tailgate and it opened, closed the tailgate and the window went up as it should. Since doing this it has worked ok. I assume it has reset itself so will...

    Rear tailgate not opening

Hi all, over from the RR forum for some advice. My mate has bought a 2000 Freelander which we collected yesterday and it drives quite nicely. We have discovered that the rear tailgate does not unlock and open either with the central locking or using the key, nothing appears to happen, no...

20 Range Rover P38 in the Snow and no problem at all!!!

Looks like a lot of people had a lot of fun. Enjoyed your Vid. Don't know why folk knock the abilities of the P38, had 12 inches of snow last week and mine coped with it no problem. It went places where the Rice Boilers were all getting stuck.

    Nanocom - newbie

Hi Nick, As defender300tdi said, go into each section and have a look around to learn what it can do and display. Read faults for each section and clear them down as you don't know how long they have been stored. Don't think you can break anything but, keep away from writing anything to the BeCM...
