    Sounds like the box is low on oil, it holds around 9 litres, may need a top up.

    I'm not going to do anymore work on the car, I'm sure the fuel system has been contaminated with water from the dodgy diesel at the garage. I will leave it in the hands of BP, it's their responsibility to have the car tested and repaired if this is the case. cheers for the feedback lads.

    Sounds like the auto box is low on oil, there's a sequence you must carry out when filling, m&s lights could be box slipping into limp mode, again gearbox related. Spray the xy switch on the gearbox with lubricant, this should cure it.
