Bolted old rear door handle between cubby box and passenger seat for disabled friend to grab onto on corners. She had a stroke and has trouble with balance now. Kids come in useful - get under there and hold that bolt in place :D

Just had her out for a spin; working well then sluggish again. Pulled up and after liberal amounts of WD40 and a few more push pulls it seems to be okay now; went up hill fine. Will keep an eye on that and maybe thrash her a bit more. Endless traffic snag ups around here and average 25-45 mph...

I was with Adrian Flux and the first year was okay but the second year they wanted double the premium even with the advertised discount for being in the LRO Club - no justifying that one. My current insurer has just done the same. Best to shop around. I was quoted £387 and just got it elsewhere...

Trying to get something done before winter as last year got rained on, snowed on etc. I like it down a bit most of the time. Never had it on my old 90 which made me think there's a problem - maybe I was just lucky?:)

Thanks, will do. Don't think it's the switch as it was brand new but the earth and the connectors will check in the morn and let you know. Rarely use it but when some arsehole shoots through the crossroads on A47 near Cambs and it don't work then the air turns blue :mad2:

Yep, everything works fine apart from the horn

Problem on windy days (not through baked beans:D) with drivers window not closing. When there is a side wind it moves in / out at the top so it doesn't fit in the channel. Is there anything I can put in the runner to prevent this? Most of the runners I have seen don't have the felty / rubber...

Landrovers and 4x4's are being targeted in this area; approx 2 per week according to local rags. Everything from complete vehicle to wheels and exhausts. One landy even set on fire.

:D Thanks for that. Done it; after a bit of swearing and a scratched arm - at least it's sunny today so no wet rrrrs. Think previous owner must have put new seat in as bolt came off much easier than normal for a landie.

Would an extension rod do if a skinny arm wasn't available? Having the same problem with Def TD5
