Hi folks, my recently acquired 1999 TD5 has been starting fine until today. We have noticed a bit of a drop in temperatures of late and wondered if this could be making the starter motor stick? Turning the key results in nothing more than a "click". Further turning - perhaps half a dozen times...

I do not see a problem with re mapping an ecu to enable an engine to perform to its optimum capabilities so long as these are kept within design paramaters and not exceeded to any...

Don't give up looking, I have just bought a 1999 TD5 ES for £3,000. I think it was cheap it has everything and it all works - loads of MOT and nearly full stamped history. Bit of a dodgy dealer type but patience, perseverance and a pocket full of cash usually works in the end. If ebay asking...
