The only photos i have of the gearbox crossmember of my build are these You dont really see much though. One thing i’ll point out though, on the lower photo you see how far back the 200tdi chassis mount is! I fabricated my own engine brackets to pick up off the 200tdi chassis mounts

The top picture looks like the mounts on the chassis are in the right place to me, almost inline with the turrets, the 200tdi mounts are alot further back. I’m in the (long) process of doing the exact conversion. Take a look at my posts if you want. I used the 300tdi gearbox crossmember...

Is it a euro torch? If it is, the liner usually is fitted right up against the contact tip.

With a v8 would it be better with the softer or harder mounts i wonder?

You can get them a LOT cheaper than that one (the one in the link is covered in leather) There around £350+vat brand new. But thats only for the main part if the dash, the bits and bobs are extra of course.

Put a puma dash in there.

He’ll be using for occasional shooting days.

As i wrote in my original post it is in immaculate condition, he’s asking £8000 for it. I think its worth it myself.

Ive seen the nas centre console for sale on the ashcroft site with the option for no gear selector hole. Would the discovery selector fit nicely with the nas centre console or are the gearstick and hi lo/difflock too close together i wonder?
