You could try a Kia Sorento... with proper tyres - they're economical, have a proper chassis, etc. etc. That should handle it... Or how about a Discovery :D

OK, here's a (possibly daft) idea... Is there anyone with a big garage or yard, who has the ability (or knows someone who does), who could do a 'Service School' for Land Rovers. Get a 'volunteer vehicle' (owners buys service kit & oils etc) and the 'pupils' can learn how to do the job, meet...

Good idea! I'm sure the guy could do a deal if there's a few of us wanting to buy. Regarding the annexe part, I'd really like a sewn in groundsheet, But of course that'd gives problems with different vehicle heights!
