    sounds like a sticky calliper to me, calliper pistons may need a clean up and apply some copper ease to rear of the pad on reassembly.

    What was the problem b4 u started? B2T, i fitted my babys car seat in today............... And tried the new key! Yesterday was better drained the excess oil out the engine over a litre :(

    Transmission noise

    Could be differential, hard to tell like the others have said! Stick up your location and im sure someonw will crawl under there if your really stuck! Either that or fit some free wheeling hubs! This will just cover the problem its an option though.

    Welcome to the site, Im new too, the advice i would give when looking for a disco is: Go and see as many as you can! Check for crunching in gears between 2nd and 3rd and visa versa! Check behind the cylinder near the bulkhead for leaks from the head gasket on tdi's. Check inner sills...
