My odometer recently hit 100,000km, but as it has got to 100,099 it then clicked over to... 100,000 and now only the first digit changes. A search reveals a not uncommon problem, but the main solution seems to be changing the speedo. Anyone got any other tips as I really want to keep its...

Yes this, but I've just fitted Climair wind deflectors to make it less noisy.

I did my first ever oil change at the weekend, and changed the oil and fuel filters too. I know I'm probably imagining it, but I'm sure it was running smoother and quieter this morning :)

Quite a productive few hours on Saturday! Fitted new battery to replace one that has died in the cold, fixed heated seat wiring, fixed exhaust rattle (front and mid sections weren't even close to being coupled together, so re-aligned and re-tightened clamp), replaced the rusty wing top vent...
