High-tech DIY hands free kit for my phone. Get some sticky back velcro, soft bit on the back of the phone and rough bit on the centre of the steering wheel. :D

    finding 33" tyres

I took some tigerseal to the tyre fitting place and put some behind each weight as they fitted them, no issues yet :)

Companies/workshops to convert 4x4s to live in

Oo interesting, have you got anymore details on the disk conversion? I work on a pair of RB 44s for a family friend and he's always complaining about the sodding brakes. I had a look on the ex-mod forums and also the dodge forums but couldn't find anything :( Other than that they are great...

    2" lift with 285/75 Stability

Totally agree, it got even worse when I had to trim the wheel arches, making a larger space around the front of the rock slider/rear of wheel arch. Gwyn lewis make a spacer-type kit with a widened mudflap which fills that gap, maybe worth looking at. Back to topic though, Griff's right, if you...

    Any tyre recommendations?

I've used Silverline before, their prices are competitive and the service is great. Tyres Direct have a vast selection and good prices too. Theres nothing wrong with remoulds so long as they are approved for road use and you consider the potential limitations e.g. speed ratings

V8 Exhaust outside chassis rails - stupid idea?

I hate to rain on your parade, but a mate from uni did something similar a little while ago, I don't think he has returned to LZ since!:D http://www.landyzone.co.uk/lz/f7/opinions-please-little-mod-my-truck-104547.html

    Press size

Can you weld? If so what about making one - it could work out quite a bit cheaper. A couple of lengths of RSJ and a hefty bottle jack would do the same and cost a lot less.

    Good little Rivnut Tool

We use those with hex heads for roofing barns. They are bloody great and will screw direct into RSJs too :D

    The right suspension

It shouldn't behave like that. I have the same springs on a much lighter 90 (no roll cage, no winch and no roof) and it handles great. Terrafirma rear springs are progressive springs whereas the fronts aren't so a quick glance will tell you if they are right front-to-back. What condition are...

Companies/workshops to convert 4x4s to live in

Sounds very similar to the RB 44, they had shocking brakes that threw the vehicle to one side. They were meant to be a replacement for the 101 but the brakes were awful and the MOD are getting shot of all of them. It cost Reynolds Boughton thousands to fix and they never fully achieved it. Many...

    old 88" canvas

A fume curtain is a really good idea, especially during the winter. They are pretty simple to make, get some tarpaulin eyelets and the tool to crimp them, then a long length of bungee cord. The canvas straps are very difficult to sow with normal needles though.

    More Money Than Taste.

We were in there a while ago with work looking at LHD LRs for export, they had a 130 double cab with some 'ghetto' wheels, and disco auto box and a funny front bumper for £130k :eek::eek: They do have some other rather interesting things from hill climb minis to a drag racer and some...

    advise again (raptor dash)

If you are planning to play about with the engine, then an EGT gauge and boost gauge may be useful. As for switches think about what you are likely to fit over the course of the next few years and factor those in.
