because it has been removed due to the vehicle no longer existing. it is now a replacement chassis for another vehicle.

the vin for a 90 should be on the front off side dumb iron just behind the bumper, and on the vin plate riveted to the brake pedal box under the bonnet. If it is a rangey chassis it will have a join in the middle as a rangey is 100" wheelbase.

Probably a bodywork write off or stolen recovered. Vehicle has been declared scrapped so selling off good parts, thats what breakers do!

I used to run a 90 on 235/85 and 7.50's with 200tdi and disco transfer box. Had no problem with it even towing. Wll be changing to one on my current 90 soon too.

forget the shells its the crank you should be concerned about. if you put new shells on a worn crank they will last no time at all and yes you will have low oil pressure due to excessive tolerences. If the crank journals are scored then bin it as it will be unreliable. Been there done it trying...

you could try bleeding the clutch right through so you replace all the fluid. It gets very manky over time.

Tis a trait of the R380 gearbox. Some suffer some dont. What did you fill the box with when you changed the oil?

And make sure it has spring washers or nylocks on it.

You could buy a conversion plate for a series. This will fit your 19j gearbox. Plenty on ebay usually.

the cups are not part of old shocks, the axle is from an air suspension equipped range rover classic. that would make it post 1991 I think. Grind them off and it'll be normal again!
