A mate of mine has, was an 86 petrol 90 county, it's got 200 moved forward with auto box, still got centre seat, will try get some pics next time I see him

Too right, I can't really complain, been using one of the garages courtesy cars, but a Micra just doesn't seem to enjoy going through the River Wyre like the 90 does... :confused: :D

I don't see the point in massive tyres and tons of lift. I've done most lanes in Lancashire, Cumbria and Yorkshire, and I've only once failed to get up something and had to use a winch, and that was due to a snapped Panhard Rod.. Lifting, extended hoses, cranked arms, huge tyres and arch cutting...

I've just fitted a Disco one in mine but my tyres are no where near that size, If I was using 35" tyres then I would keep the 90 box.

A 110 is far easier to replace transmission parts than a Disco.. As long as chassis, bulkhead etc are good then you can't go far wrong, although like he said getting underneath and having a feel of props etc, play/clunks when taking up drive, vibrations, growls etc

What he said... what's the offside chassis leg like at the front? Should be stamped on side facing away from engine just behind where the bumper bolts to.. Even if you can only make a few numbers out it gives you something to compare to?

I got a set free with a 90 that cost not much more than that.. My mate got a set on a disco he gave £50 for scrap, anyone who pays that sort of money is mental..

Mine is temporary at the min, will be fitting my new kit at the back but I currently have my antenna gutter mounted an inch behind passenger door. I have a wire run from bottom of antenna to one of the bolts that holds the sides to the rear tub, works fine for me :)

We use a Sykes one at work, excellent tool.. Used Snap-on ones and a couple others but Sykes one is definitely the easiest.
