    Freelander 1 VCU Test

Advice: 1. Don't hurry 2. Threaded holes on the flat opposite faces, 180degrees oposed. 3. Don't hurry. 4. Use thinner for internal dillution. 5. Do not hurry. I guess is more loose than original, but in snow and mud rear wheels have traction. Good luck and be patient.

    Freelander 1 VCU Test

Yes, I did it 2 years ago. 2 holes M8 thread, let the old juice out a couple of months, washed the interior with silicone thinner, refilled with 100.000Cst silicone from ebay. Cca 120g. Total cost under 30 british pounds. Time under 4-5 months. Hint. Use inox caps, copper inbetween.

So, as a conclusion, you should'nt scratch if not itching (Hope I wrote it correct) and let things as factory made it. Am I right, or too conservative?

    Anti roll bar

Hi, taking the opportunity to ask: does the antiroll bar have some collars/ limiters for axial play when new? Mine doesn't and from time to time is going sideways with the shock impact noise included. What would be the agreed sollution for that? I wouldn't weld on it. Thank you.

    Freelander 1 Another VCU Fred.

Regarding the tyres. If the rear pressure is higher than the front, say 01bar, then certain the diameter of a rear wheel will be biger than a front. So, this way you can control the situation, even if the tyres are worn. At least this is the way I do it. Any thoughts? best regards Stefan
