Just pulled and wiggled it a bit, came out no trouble at all. Comes out with a bit of weight in it so wouldnt tug too hard and only plastic lugs holding it in place. Good luck ! ;)

Another recent post on here with similar question, again I think it was in the region of £900 for the pair....it's a bloody sting.

No bother at all. It makes perfect sense to me, the light fitting would act as a drip tray for it. Think you diagnosed it spot on.

Forget that...it's a piece of cake. Just had a look on mine. Pull the light fitting out and there is the aerial connection. Tighten the bolt and see if that helps. Check the rubber surround on the outside of the aerial it may have perrished.

Thats what I think too, never looked at the aerial carefully before but I assume that there is a bolt fitting under the rooflining. You might be able to get to it from the sunroof side rather than the windscreen side.

Guessing its the 5 door is it? If thats the case it would seem to be the most logical explanation to think that its seeping through the aerial. That or maybe condensation perhaps. Think your first guess is right. Anyone know how these aerials are attatched?

Are you sure it isnt coming in through the sockets for the roof bars? Water colects in there and can filter in. Seen it happen on a 3 door TD4.
