To cut a long story short, I've found the land owner of the Aston Cantlow off roading site. He's willing to let partys of 4x4 owners come and use the land, (by appointment only), for a TENNER per vehicle!!! Who's up for a bash on the 17th or 18 this month? Stu.

Wildmoor isn't open for 4x4 users anymore, bikes only.

I don't fancy driving along hearing the old "finger nails on chalk board" as I bounce along. The odd wee scratch here and there I can sort with a bit of T-Cut, so don't really mind that. Might have to skip the worse ones. Which day are you doing the Mynd...Sat or Sun?

The only non-standard bits on my Disco' are the tyres, General Grabber A/T2's. Are you planning doing many "scratchy / denty" lanes?

Hi all, Got a bit of play in me left hand ball joint, enough to give the steering wheel a bit of wobble while I'm driving. I've changed them before on other cars, but not my Disco'. I'm assuming it's going to be the same sort of method, or is there anything I need to differently? Stu.

Got it sorted...I popped in to see the nice blokes at Ultimat Land Rover on the way home t'other day. They plugged it into the puter there and then, turns out it was the front left sensor. They cancelled the alarm for me and it's not returned yet. Fingers crossed it'll be ok now, I reckon it was...

Gave them all a wee shoogle, and checked for perished wiring. Fruitless. Think I'll just give it to "Ultimate Land Rover" to sort out.

O.K. I'm a little wiser now thanks to google. It seems "Shoogle" is the Scottish equiv' of "Jiggle it a bit".:D

I got the three amigos light up this morning. They lit up as I was reversing off my drive this morning. I washed the Disco' yesterday evening (still hadn't dried off by this a.m.)this morning was the first jaunt since. I'm hoping that some water got into somewhere while I was washing it and...

I got general grabber AT 2's on my Disco'. I also do lots of M-way miles, and green laning from time to time. Went out playing in the snow we had at the after crimbo and there wasn't a hill we struggled with T/C only kicked in a couple of times. In my opinion they give good all round performance...
