Leaning towards a Disco, went to look at a couple earlier. I think it might be the extra two seats in the back that make the difference. It means we can seperate the rowdy kids on long journeys. Going to test drive tomorrow......still like the range rovers though...and could still be tempted. Stu.

Went to look at a Range Rover just now, at a place just outside of Bearly, nr Warwick. It was sitting low, so when the sales guy started her up I was stood watching for the suspension to lift fairly quickly, nothing happened. Salesman told me that it had been sat on the forecourt for a while...

Hi all, I'm thinking of getting a range rover and want to know which models to avoid. I have heard that the 4.0 V8 engine blocks go porous and start loosing water at around 100,000 miles. Does this happen to the 4.6 too, and was it only a particular year that suffers from this. Stu.
