    Running well now. Idle rock steady as it should be. Good idea about easy start but saying that its been -6/-7 overnight so even the new battery has needed a couple of hoes to get it started first thing. Nothing but 4x4s out round us now due to the ice and snow so relieved its fixed.

    OK after an hour in the snow I've pulled it all off apart from pulling the injectors. All sensors connected, disconnected and reconnected the injector plugs. There was mist in the tracts when I pulled the inlet manifold off so I think fuel is getting there, also pulled off one the leak back...

    I've cranked the bugger and cycled as you suggest but it just won't catch. Its cold (-3) but the battery is fairly new and still cranking well.

    Hi All 2005 td4 120K generally runs OK. Been idling badly and fuel economy reduced recently so had had the injectors checked, two faulty so repaired. Refitted this evening and the bloody thing won't start. Turns over, lift pump running. Can't see any fuel leaks or anything out of the ordinary...
