Whats the best make of clutch for landrovers. is there much diffrence between a clutch on a 110 and 130?

Happy days got the landy back today and its now in my mates garage awaiting me taking her apart tomorrow.

we will be getting her back on the 9th. happy ish days.

i couldn't get the gearbox fixed, was no point really it sounded to me like the main shaft had broken, or at least some gears were broken, plus we had to get back as my wife is back at work today and i am going back tomorrow. quite surprised about the gear box as its a ashcroft one that's only 2...

is finally home after a very stress full couple of days, unfortunately our landrover is not with us and is in a recovery yard in montpellier in the south of france with a fooked gearbox and that is all i have got to say today! well apart from the fact that adrian flux has some of the best...

well thats everything packed and ready to go , i hope you all have a great christmas and messy new year - we will be on the ferry to morocco on christmas day but in marrakech for new years eve.

wont be long now, just about got everything sorted for the friday departure.

Not sure if anyone get lrm but there was a expedition defender in there for £25,000 - if thats the sort of money these fetch then i am in the wrong business.

can anyone reccomend a good gps that dosent cost a small fortune?

well i have spent all day on teh old girl and it turned out to be the dowel on the front of the engine had twisted - not sure how but it was - will post a picture later, put a new head gasket on and put her back together and took her for a spin and she seems ok, but she was ok last time!!!!

i thought i had cleaned the bolts holes out but i will have another look over the weekend.

3 weeks and counting!!!

just orded a new another new head gasket and will be doing it over the weekend. will keep you posted.

i tried to nip up the head bolts and its still leaking.

mmmm still not sure, havent had a look at the old girl for a few days, do i change it again or not as i am going to morrocco in 4 weeks time.
