Well not much of an update but....finally managed to find the chassis number and turns out it's actually an early 1959 series 2, so MOT and Tax exempt :D just got to get it registered in my name now. Won't be starting any work on it for another month or so as moving house, but have a nice...

Got them on my discovery. They're good in the wet and were pretty good in the snow and ice last winter.
