will the engine just slide of the auto box after the bell housing bolts are undun. thanks

have done this i can see the water coming out the block by the loom and black metal braket which half covers the core plug. not good so engine on its way out more fun.

there is no water on the back of the head or the gasket its damp on the block and the water does'nt drip it runs. also if you blow in the header tank you can hear the water and air coming out from the back its also running from the top of the gear box.

can any one please help i have a water leak coming from the back of my engine all the heater hose are ok dont thinks its the head gasket or the head core plug is the another place on the block. thanks

not on mine it didnt just do short sprays.

have you tryed useing easy start to see if its fuel related or something else. if it runs on easy start you know its fuel also this might get the fuel up in the lines.

tap the fuel pump under the bonet on the near side thats normaly the problem it should buzz when the ingnition is on if not the hit it with something untill it does.

i have a de-cat and egr blank off. also it smells like its not burning all the fuel on tick over it smell rich?

thanks. also fitting a bigger intercooler you shouldn't need to turn the pump up because all you are doing is putting the same amount of air in but its been cooled more than normal and if you need to you can turn up the turbo a bit to make up for all the extra pipe work.

yes but if you fit a boost gauge a turn the turbo up a touch it will give more boost and less lag.

the best thing to do is take you reg number into a motor factors and get them to show you the exhaust that is what i would do.

also i got all my parts for less than £100 de-cat £30, egr free home made, intercooler £20, piping £30. plus one or 2 other bits.

what is that from

the original intercooler is only 1/5th of the size needed for this engine. I have a new one of a vauxhall frontera and its 3x the size.
