Yes, it does make life a lot easier. Very often bus air bags are a PITA as we have to force the ends into the bags!

t makes life a lot easier. Have done loads of air bags on buses they can be right b'stards to fit. We found that once the bags are in place we use an air line to inflate them on the bus rather than the vehicle air supply, there's not enough volume of air to make them seat properly.

Mine's still with the garage down the road, I managed to find some O rings in my collection that will hopefully fit the bottom hose adaptor! LR don't sell them as spares, you have to buy the octopus of bottom hoses for over £500!! I've got hundreds of O ring selections, but never the right size...

That's what I thought, I've got quite a stock of big O rings. Garage man said the original o ring is flat, would a round one seal aw well as the flat one? He said one of the rings in there is tapered, like the ones they use in kitchen sink waste pipes.

I was about to say much the same, get the windscreen repair people to drill a hole to stop the crack spreading the put some "stuff" in there to seal it. With proper "stuff" the crack will be almost invisible and not spread any more.

As for diesel bug, the black stuff in the fuel, they seem to have changed the fuel over the last couple of years so I hardly ever hear of it happening these days. We both tend to get through a full tank of diesel every couple of weeks, so the bug wouldn't have time to manifest itself. In our 2...
