Does anyone have a overdrive on a defender . heard mixed reports on em . some say they trash the transmission ?

I have a 24 spline arb air locker currently in a 300 defender 90 with comp , switches and air lines . I also have a tubular high rise winch bumper ( think its scorpion racing so no need to cut front panel ) its fitted with a come up winch and plasma line . pair of rear fold down forward facing...

Has anyone tried 305\70\16's on 8 inch wide rims on standard height springs . rims are 4 inch back space or et 0 depending how you word it

My set where crap . I put em on brand new and within 25k they where goosed and thrown on the silage clamp . they wore down fast got badly perished then the tread started peeling off . they maybe don't like heavy trailer work and being on a farm ?

If you look at the 2 the difference in quality is massive . we always used richards until my mate bought a marsland we've never had a Richards since . the Dutch won't touch Richards chassis . something to do with the design not been type approved . buy a marsland

Spend the extra little bit and buy a marsland chassis . they are made like the origional ones not 4 flat plates welded together like a Richards . truck looks really straight and tidy for her age though

Cooper discoverer stt's fell apart and wore down for fun . not impressed at all . hankook rt03 where decent things but also wore down quite fast

The old bfg mud pattern wasn't bad . I had 2 sets of them over the years but this time I had to get the new pattern . not impressed . prefer the Insa traction tracks all though there is a bit of road noise . both sets are 265/75/16 and no clearance issues even when towing well over 3 ton on...

My mates td5 defender has been childish today and let the drive off the oil pump . he didn't get it stopped in time and its seriously sick . does anyone have a decent complete td5 10p engine for sale

T182kvh was my old truck . its a blue hard top 90 td5 . I know a dealer in bishop Auckland had it last week but it had gone by the time my mate told me . if anyone on here has just bought her get in touch . had some laughs with that thing and I still have the hybrid turbo I used to run on it

I can't read the tag to see what it is . just can make out a sticker with bushey hall written on it . tempted to strip it down clean it up and try it for the logging job . gonna have to get a solenoid and a control for it . any sugestions ? best start thinking about a winch bumper too

Just bought an old 200 90 with a Ramsey winch on it .the motor works but the solenoids are dead . is it worth fixing or ate they cheap crap ?

I'd go for the 110 . the 90 sounds expensive
