    Years ago I had a 1972 Range Rover, long story short, the starter motor was goosed, for about 3weeks I started it with the starter handle and I found it surprisingly easy.

    I bought a online part, not for a landy and it didn't fit, after a couple of emails with no reply I sent another telling them that I was contacting Trading Standards and my credit card company with a view to court action. The problem was resolved the next day.

    I had a similar problem with the hub binding once the stub axle bolts were tightened. I had bought a refurb kit from Paddocks including the top and bottom swivel bearings, in the end I went to the Land Rover main dealer and bought genuine swivel pin bearings and it all fitted together perfectly...

    I did this last year, but I used a campervan ! We took a week but you could easily take two weeks to see everything / go everywhere. The best time would be end of May beginning of June as this is usually a dry spell for the West Highlands and there is a bonus of few midges ! Plenty of good...

    I took my window switches out last week to check them. Just release the radio, mine was held in with two 2 or 3 mm allen screws, pull the radio out, you don't have to disconnect any of the wires and poke the switch out from the back with your finger.
